How can a sparrow know of the swan's ambition?

The greatest traitor has always resembled an honest man, and the greatest falsehood come across as truth. Righteousness and evil cannot be discerned by their appearances. Perhaps in the past you decided wrongly about me, and perhaps today you misjudged me as well. However, I remain myself. I've never cared about others misjudging me. Examine your heart and tell me, have I spoken truly?

"It's no big deal"

There are many times when you will make a choice, and see it as a very independent, individual action. Dropping some litter on the floor, maybe not tidying up after yourself, or many other (in your eyes) relatively minor things in this coronavirus environment. But what would happen if everyone behaved like that? If I do something, it's as if I were giving everyone else my permission to do the same - and I have to consider the consequences of that , not just of my own individual action. Don't be part of the problem. Am I part of the cure? Or am I part of the disease?

Time and Forgiveness

Our world, with its rules of causality, has trained us to be miserly with forgiveness. By forgiving them too readily, we can be badly hurt. But if we've learned from a mistake and became better for it, shouldn't we be rewarded for the learning, rather than punished for the mistake?
